Kofloc Purge Flow Meter with Needle Valve Model RK1600R SERIES

The Kofloc RK1600R Series is the industry standard for precision purging.

Description

The Kofloc RK1600R Series is the industry standard for precision purging. Unlike larger rotameters, the “R” series is optimized for miniaturized integration. It provides high-accuracy measurement of small flow volumes while occupying minimal panel space. The unit is constructed using a metal block body (available in SUS316 or Brass) and a precision-tapered Pyrex glass tube, ensuring long-term visibility and resistance to mechanical stress.

The natural environment is preserved through the balance of solids, liquids and gases that exist on the earth. However, human civilization has caused pollution that has greatly damaged our environment. The task of the present generation is to restore our environment to its natural healthy state. And this is also the greatest challenge for 21st century science and technology.

KOFLOC's corporate motto is "A Scientific Approach for Fluids." In other words, we create products that scientifically measure and control the balance of liquids and gases. We trust that through our work we are making a contribution to the regeneration of the environment and to the establishment of a prosperous society.

Features

  • Durable Metal Block: Solid SUS316 or Brass construction provides superior structural integrity compared to plastic meters.

  • Versatile Mounting: Designed specifically for panel-mount applications with front-facing access.

  • Low Flow Specialization: Capable of measuring extremely small flow ranges (e.g., as low as 0.5–5 mL/min).

Applications

  • Analytical Instruments: Purging detector housings and optical paths in spectrometers.

  • Level Measurement: Providing a steady bubble-pipe flow for liquid level sensing in tanks.

  • Sensor Protection: Maintaining a constant positive pressure of inert gas over sensitive probes.

  • Atmospheric Control: Regulating minute gas feeds into glove boxes and small incubators.

  • Gas Chromatography: Precision control of auxiliary and split-flow gas lines.

  • Water Treatment: Monitoring small-volume chemical dosing or air injection.
