EGE Elektronik Air Flow Sensor Productseries LC 521

The EGE Elektronik LC 521 is the authoritative solution for non-contact airflow supervision.

Description

The EGE Elektronik LC 521 is the authoritative solution for non-contact airflow supervision. In industrial environments where mechanical flow switches (like vanes or paddles) often fail due to dust, humidity, or mechanical fatigue, the LC 521 offers a solid-state alternative. By measuring the cooling effect of the flowing medium on a heated sensor tip, it provides a highly accurate and wear-free switching signal. The LC 521 is a “Smart” sensor, meaning all evaluation electronics are integrated directly into the M18 probe. This eliminates the need for external amplifiers or control units. The sensor is optimized for air and gaseous media and features an adjustable switching threshold that can be fine-tuned via a multi-turn potentiometer located on the back of the housing.
