The EGE Elektronik SZAb 400 EX-WR115 is the authoritative solution for facilities operating on 115V AC power that require robust monitoring of sensors in volatile zones. In hazardous locations, electrical energy must be strictly controlled to prevent the ignition of gases, vapors, or dust. The SZAb 400 EX-WR115 accomplishes this through Intrinsic Safety, limiting the energy sent to the field sensor to levels that are incapable of causing a spark. The “WR115” designation indicates that this model is specifically engineered for 115V AC industrial power grids. It is designed for mounting on a standard 35mm DIN-rail within a safe area (non-hazardous zone), serving as the secure connection point for EGE flow or level probes situated within the “Ex” zone.
