The EGE Elektronik STS 215 K is the authoritative choice for installations where the sensor must reach deep into a pipe or duct to capture an accurate flow reading. While the 212 series is designed for standard pipes, the STS 215 K features a longer probe body, ensuring the sensing tip is positioned in the core of the airflow, away from the boundary layer turbulence near the pipe walls. The “K” designation signifies the integrated fixed cable (standard 2 meters). This design is highly favored in environments where moisture, oil mist, or heavy vibration are present, as the factory-sealed connection provides superior hermetic protection compared to plug-in versions. It eliminates the risk of contact corrosion or accidental disconnection in critical process areas.
