EGE Elektronik Sensor for Explosive Productseries ST 102 K

EGE Elektronik Sensor for Explosive Productseries ST 102 K is the authoritative solution for process engineers who require a standard G1/2″ mounting interface in a package certified for the highest risk areas.

Description

EGE Elektronik Sensor for Explosive Productseries ST 102 K is the authoritative solution for process engineers who require a standard G1/2″ mounting interface in a package certified for the highest risk areas. Designed for Zone 0 (Gas) and Zone 20 (Dust), this sensor can be installed where explosive atmospheres are present continuously, making it ideal for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries. Operating on the thermodynamic principle, the ST 102 K utilizes a solid-state probe to monitor flow velocity. This technology is superior for hazardous zones because it contains no moving parts. Mechanical flow switches (paddles or turbines) can fail due to friction or generate static electricity—both of which are potential ignition sources. The ST 102 K eliminates these risks entirely.
