Description
Maeda Koki MKCTV Type is an advanced evolution in the Oil Signal series, engineered for applications where simple “flow/no-flow” confirmation is not enough. Unlike standard rheoscopes, the MKCTV utilizes a specialized transparent taper pipe mechanism. As oil flows through the unit, the internal ball (or float) moves against a spring, positioning itself relative to a graduated indication red line. This allows for the confirmation of approximate flow quantity by simply looking at the float’s position.
Beyond measurement, this unit grants operators active control over their systems. It features a built-in miniature adjustment valve. By manipulating this valve, users can fine-tune the flow rate, setting the ball or float exactly to the desired position on the indication line. This capability ensures that machinery receives the precise amount of lubrication required for optimal performance.
To guarantee longevity in harsh industrial settings, the MKCTV is encased in a metal protective cover. This rugged shield significantly reduces the possibility of damage caused by accidental shocks or tools striking the unit. Furthermore, the internal spring mechanism ensures that the installation direction does not matter. Whether mounted vertically (looking up or down) or horizontally (sideways), the MKCTV maintains accurate operation and stability.
