The CS Instruments CS 40 Standard Pressure Sensor provides a robust solution for medium-range pressure applications. It effectively measures a pressure ratio of 0…40 bar, accommodating a wide variety of pneumatic and fluid systems.

A key advantage of the CS 40 is its adaptability regarding measurement precision. The standard configuration delivers an accuracy of full scale 1%, which is sufficient for most general monitoring tasks. However, for applications demanding more exact measurement within the same pressure ratio, the sensor can be supplied with an enhanced accuracy of full scale 0.5%.

Integration is simplified through the use of an industry-standard output signal of 4…20 mA via a 2-Wire connection. The device is designed to operate on a broad power supply range of 8…30 VDC, ensuring compatibility with most industrial power grids.
