Description
The Wenglor YP05MGVL80 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision operates based on the high-resolution principle of laser triangulation. The sensor projects a fine red laser beam onto an object, while the reflected light is detected by a built-in CMOS line. This allows the device to calculate distances with an impressive linearity deviation of just 0.1%. With a working range of 50 to 110 mm, it is optimized for sensitive applications where consistent measurement is paramount.
Performance and integration versatility are key strengths of the Wenglor YP05MGVL80 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision. It features a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a response time of less than 0.5 ms, making it capable of tracking fast-moving components without compromising data integrity. The sensor provides an analog output (0…10 V / 4…20 mA) and two switching outputs (PNP), allowing it to communicate seamlessly with various PLC systems. Alignment is made simple by the visible Class 1 laser beam, while sensitivity can be fine-tuned via a high-precision potentiometer.
