Description
The Wenglor YP11MGV80 Laser Distance Sensor High Precision operates on the principle of optical triangulation, where a laser beam is projected onto an object and the reflected light is captured by a high-resolution CMOS line array. This method allows the sensor to calculate distances with exceptional precision, maintaining a linearity deviation of only 50 µm and a reproducibility of 10 µm.
This sensor stands out for its flexibility in modern automation architectures. It provides a standard analog output (0…10 V / 4…20 mA) for legacy systems, while simultaneously offering IO-Link version 1.1 for Industry 4.0 integration. The IO-Link interface allows for advanced parameterization, condition monitoring, and rapid device replacement. With a robust IP67-rated housing and a visible red laser (Class 1) safe for the human eye, the YP11MGV80 is engineered for long-term stability and high-speed performance in demanding production environments.
