The Wenglor OCP352P0150C Laser Distance Sensor High Precision operates on the principle of angular measurement, utilizing a high-resolution CMOS line array and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology. This configuration allows for extreme accuracy in determining distances, even when dealing with difficult target surfaces. Because this sensor communicates via Industrial Ethernet (EtherCAT), the need for traditional analog or digital input cards at the control unit is completely eliminated, reducing system complexity and hardware costs.
Efficiency through Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Setting a new standard for ease of integration, this sensor is a PoE Class 1 device. This means that both power and high-speed data are handled by a single X-coded M12 connection, significantly reducing wiring effort and potential failure points. Users can easily manage the device via the integrated web server or the intuitive graphic OLED display on the housing, allowing for simple operation and real-time status monitoring directly on the factory floor.
