Description
The Gastec HS10 Hydrogen Sulphide Sensor is a professional-grade industrial component engineered for the high-precision detection of Hydrogen Sulphide ($H_{2}S$). Utilizing state-of-the-art controlled potential electrolysis technology, this sensor provides critical data for safety monitoring systems in environments where toxic gas exposure is a primary concern.
Maintenance & Replacement
Because the HS-10 is a “consumable” electrochemical component, it will eventually lose sensitivity as the electrolyte is depleted.
Polarization Time: When installing a new HS-10 sensor, it must be allowed to “warm up” or polarize for 12 to 24 hours while the instrument is powered on before you attempt the final calibration.
Calibration: It is recommended to perform a span calibration every 6 months to account for natural sensor aging.
