Description
The G sensor operates on the galvanic cell principle, functioning as a self-powered electrochemical battery. Oxygen from the environment diffuses into the cell and triggers a chemical reaction that generates a voltage proportional to the oxygen concentration.
Because it is a galvanic cell, it requires no external power to generate its signal and has no warm-up time. The sensor’s cylindrical housing phi36 x 38 mm is specifically designed to fit the internal manifold of the GOH-1A and GOC-1A detectors, ensuring a secure, air-tight seal for diffusion-based sampling.
