A mid-range Hydrogen Fluoride permeation tube designed for generating calibration gas in the 0.3 to 29 ppm range. It is an essential tool for ensuring the accuracy of $HF$ monitoring systems in semiconductor manufacturing, refineries, and chemical laboratories.
The P-17-5 tube contains a small amount of liquid Hydrogen Fluoride. When kept at a constant temperature within a calibration oven, the $HF$ permeates through the tube’s membrane at a fixed, repeatable rate. By mixing this small amount of permeated gas with a known flow of pure air or nitrogen, users can create precise gas standards.
