Description

The P-17-5 tube contains a small amount of liquid Hydrogen Fluoride. When kept at a constant temperature within a calibration oven, the $HF$ permeates through the tube’s membrane at a fixed, repeatable rate. By mixing this small amount of permeated gas with a known flow of pure air or nitrogen, users can create precise gas standards.
