Fatek FBs-20MA PLC Basic Main Unit – 20 I/O Points

Fatek – FBs-20MA PLC Basic Main Unit is a cost-optimized controller designed for industrial applications that demand reliability and performance on a budget. Offering a total of 20 I/O points (12 Digital Inputs and 8 Digital Outputs), this unit provides the perfect capacity for small-to-medium scale machinery where complex auxiliary features are not required.

Description

In the competitive world of machine building, efficiency is key. The Fatek – FBs-20MA PLC Basic Main Unit offers a strategic advantage by stripping away non-essential features (like detachable terminals and Real-Time Clocks) to provide a streamlined, high-performance controller at an economical price point.

Industrial-Grade Reliability (SoC) Do not mistake “Basic” for low performance. The FBs-20MA utilizes the exact same advanced System on Chip (SoC) technology found in Fatek’s high-end models. This single-chip architecture integrates the CPU, Hardware Logic Solver, and communication ports, resulting in rapid instruction execution (0.33µs) and exceptional immunity to electrical noise and vibration.

Optimized for Fixed Installations The primary distinction of the MA series is the use of fixed terminal blocks. For applications where the wiring harness is installed once during manufacturing and rarely disconnected, this design offers significant cost savings without compromising connection security. The 7.62mm pitch terminals are robust and easy to wire.

Scalability and Connectivity Despite its economy classification, the FBs-20MA is fully expandable. It comes standard with a built-in RS-232 port (Port 0) for programming and HMI connectivity. Additionally, it supports the full range of FBs right-side expansion modules, allowing you to add analog I/O, temperature inputs, or more digital points if your project requirements grow.
